What is Netflix Starstruck?
Starstruck is Netflix's daily Star Battle puzzle. It is part of Netflix Puzzled, the collection of free daily word, logic, and visual games hosted on Netflix's Tudum site and in the Netflix Puzzled mobile app, alongside titles like Bonza, Sudoku, and Crossover. Netflix describes it simply: place stars on a grid so there is only one in each row, column, and colored area, and never two stars next to each other.
The idea is elegant and needs no numbers or words. Each colored region takes exactly one star, each row and column takes exactly one star, and the single twist — no two stars may touch, even diagonally — is what turns it into a deduction puzzle. Netflix offers one board a day in two sizes. It is a lovely daily ritual, but when you finish it and want another, there is nowhere official to go.
That is why this site exists. The Starstruck Game is an independent, free edition of the same Star Battle idea, built for players who want to keep going. It is not the official Netflix puzzle and it is not affiliated with Netflix — it is a fan-made companion that gives you Star Battle puzzles whenever you want them.
How to play
The rules here are exactly the same as the Netflix version. Place one star in every row, every column, and every colored region. No two stars may be adjacent — not horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. When all stars are placed legally, the board is solved.
The controls match too. Tap a cell once to place a cross where a star cannot go, tap again to place a star, and tap a third time to clear it. Swipe across the grid to mark or clear several cells quickly. Placing a star auto-crosses its neighbors, row, column, and region — and, just like Netflix, you can switch that off in settings. Hints are unlimited if you get stuck.

Netflix Starstruck FAQ
Is this the official Netflix Starstruck?
No. The Starstruck Game is an independent, fan-made site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix. The official Starstruck is published by Netflix as part of Netflix Puzzled; this site is a free companion for players who want more Star Battle puzzles.
Why play Starstruck here instead of on Netflix?
Netflix gives you one Starstruck puzzle per day in two sizes. This site gives you six daily boards from 5×5 to 10×10, a library of numbered puzzles you can play on demand, an archive of past days, and optional leaderboards — all free and without a Netflix account.
Are the rules the same as Netflix Starstruck?
Yes. Place one star in every row, column, and colored region, and never let two stars touch, even diagonally. The controls are the same too: tap to cross, tap again to star, swipe to mark quickly, with automatic crossing around each star that you can turn off. If you can play Netflix's Starstruck, you already know how to play here.
Do I need a Netflix account to play here?
No. You do not need a Netflix account, and you do not need any account at all to play. Signing in is optional and only adds the daily leaderboard and cross-device progress; every puzzle is fully playable signed out.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free. There is nothing to install and no paywall — just open a puzzle and start placing stars.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The board is built for touch first: tap to cycle a cell through cross and star, or swipe to mark several cells at once. It works on phones, tablets, and desktops in any modern browser.
