Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026

The Starstruck Game is designed to respect your privacy. We do not require an account and we do not ask for any personal information to play.

Information we store

We store your game data — such as which stars you have placed on each daily puzzle, your solving streak, and your best times — directly in your browser using localStorage. If you play anonymously (no sign-in), this data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser storage will erase it.

If you choose to sign in, an optional feature, your solve times, solving streak, and daily completion state are transmitted to and stored on our servers. We use this data to power the leaderboard and to sync your progress across your devices.

Cookies

The core game does not set tracking cookies of its own. If this site displays advertising or uses analytics in the future, those third-party services may set cookies or use similar technologies subject to their own privacy policies; any such usage will be reflected here and in any consent controls shown to you.

Third-party services

Pages may load from a content delivery network for speed and reliability. Standard web server logs (such as IP address and browser type) may be recorded by our hosting and CDN providers for security and operational purposes. We do not use these logs to build profiles of individual players.

Children

The Starstruck Game is a general-audience logic puzzle and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date above.

Contact

Because this is an independent hobby project, the simplest way to protect your privacy is that there is nothing to hand over: no login, no email, no personal data required to play.
